Each Year, the James Renwick Alliance sponsors a Craft Workshop Series. Craft artists who are prominent in their fields will conduct workshops and give lectures. The lectures at the Renwick Gallery are co-sponsored by the James Renwick Alliance and the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Smithsonian Institution.
The Alliance continues to partner with other regional arts organizations that host workshops in their premises. Locations are noted in workshop descriptions. All workshops are fee based, and all talks are free and open to the public. A dinner with the artist is included as part of each program.
The workshops are priced at $45.00 each for JRA members and $55.00 each for non-members. The subscription cost for all three workshops is $120.00 for JRA members and $150.00 for non-members.
